Three workshops focusing on the basics of ministry with children and youth will be held in August according to Whitney Robinson, the diocesan director of children and youth ministries.
“The workshops will be held at three locations in the diocese, which we hope will allow a greater accessibility to this important ministry,” said Robinson.
Robinson scheduled a workshop at St. Peter’s/Oxford on August 5; St. John’s/Pascagoula will host the event on August 12; Chapel of the Cross/Madison is the location on August 26.
“The morning session will be from 10 till noon. The afternoon session is from 1-3, and there will be a free lunch offered at each workshop,” said Robinson.
Those wanting to attend are asked to RSVP so there will be plenty of workshop materials and food for each event. An online workshop will be will offered for those not able to attend. The online version should be available at the end of August.
