Artist H.C. Porter’s new art exhibition book Backyards & Beyond: Mississippians and Their Stories will be signed at the Episcopal Church of the Creator in Clinton, Mississippi on Friday November 14th at 7 p.m.
“The special signing event is to honor the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi for all the work rebuilding the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina," said Lauchlin Fields, director of the H.C. Porter Gallery in Vicksburg.
Lauchlin stated that the book features colorful images of the 81 original mixed media paintings and excerpts from audio of the painting subjects that make up this important exhibition and piece of Mississippi history.
The event is open to the general public.
