Good morning to all - Last night tornados and severe storms swept through many parts of Mississippi.  Sharkey and Humphreys counties took a huge hit with many injured and at this time, 23 who lost their lives.  Chapel of the Cross located in Rolling Fork with Greg Proctor as its part-time priest incurred severe damage.  Several of his parishioners lost their homes.  First responders are there and getting information on the damage and needs.  Right now, water and snacks are needed for the responders and can be taken to the National Guard
Armory on Hwy 61.  No clothes yet.   There might be someone from a few churches there but not enough to go through what comes in.  Also, gift cards will be needed  - probably Walmart which would be the nearest.  I told Greg that I would be in touch with him about needs for his parishioners.  And whenever folks can start getting in to the town for work, I'll let you know.   Keep all of those in Rolling Fork, Silver City, and other affected areas in your prayers and also those who died.

Blessings to all,

Cathy
