Uganda Visit (update 2)
by The Rev. Dr. William Ndishabandi
Bishop [Gray] is overwhelmed with unexpected hospitalities from various institutions and people. Today we visited the Center for HIV/AIDS, met with people living with AIDS. The Bishop was touched to hear from their personal testimonies how blessed they're to know about themselves. They are very bold and very supportive to those who are stigmatized, Bishop [Gray] laid his hands upon each of them and in turn they laid their hands on him. I have the video and many photos.

(A Group of Students from the Kamaiba Primary School Funded by The Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation "We are pupils of Kamaiba Primary School in Kasese town, western Uganda. We are aged between 6-16 and in different classes. We were orphaned because of HIV/AIDS. We very much miss our beloved parents. We very much need prayers. Life is not easy. We think a lot about our future. We think about our education, our medical care and many other things. We pray that Bishop Masereka will continue assisting us with school fees.")
Thereafter, we went to Kamaiba Primary School, a school [where] half of their 980 students are orphans due to HIV/AIDS or other causes. Looking at their faces they are the...happiest people in the world. They welcomed Bishop Gray with a traditional folk dance and [the] Ugandan anthem followed with [the] American anthem. Bishop Gray has the story. He is enjoying every bit of his stay in Uganda.

After Kamaiba visit, we were treated on an executive lunch at a five-star hotel, Margarita, after which the mayor of the city of Kasese took us for a tour. Tomorrow, we will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, border of Uganda and Congo, visit some institutions, and in the evening we will be hosted by the Rt. Rev. Jackson Thembo Nzerebende for dinner.
Sunday: William will preach at 7:00 a.m., Bishop Gray will preach at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. respectively. St. Paul's Cathedral has five services ranging from 400 to 1,000 in each service.
Things are doing very well. I hope to update you later. God bless you richly...
